007 - Initiate object to track
With stage in blackout conditions and the camera in IR mode it might be possible to grab the correct shape of the object ready for projection to be masked to that shape but it has proved difficult without the use of a torch to light the specific area.
A test will be carried out using a seperate IR light to flood the stage, hopefully the current OSL camera will be able to pick up the details necessary to successfully grab and track an object.
Alternatives are for a proper IR/night vision camera and the planned experiments with the other object recognition methods (namely background subtraction and 2 bit).
