Test_case_001 update
After researching into the methods of Flash comms, it has been decided that Flash is not suitable for the level of control required of an Object via the Sequencer.
The last week has been spent researching the Director environment and its application with Delphi - the latter is able to compile components and Xtras for use in Director.
Basic comms testing was done via the disused Shockwave MultiUser Server that demonstrated control of one shockwave app via another. Control of individual vertices is possible via Director's Lingo programming language. Creation of Objects is possible entirely through the use of Lingo.
More research and testing into Director and Lingo is currently taking place for use in the Generator. A Delphi app is to be written that will take care of comms via sockets, using an Xtra written for this purpose.
The PoC/P trial in the Beckett Theatre has been pushed back one week.
