After talks with a theatre director during that session, a task was set to enable a performer to move a projected film around the stage area.
This has been completed via the FloatFilmProjected patch for Eyesweb 4.0.11. Currently at version 1, this enables a portion of an avi file to be extracted and projected over the stage area. A simple co-ordinate system is in place that derives the positional value of the video from an extracted colour blob. The video tracks quite well and seems to default to the behaviour discovered during the December trial whereby an object would float towards the bottom left unless interacted with.
Future versions will have co-ord value smoothing and a proper AI engine.
