We hope everyone has enjoyed the first few months and are looking forward to more exciting things throughout the year. There have been heaps of changes at Glengala, and we would like to thank you all for your assistance and patience during these times of ‘newness’ and transition.

Our Brand New Home

As you may have noticed our new home is the Hope of Life Community Church. While the Glengala Community Centre was nice, this place is much, much cooler. We started the year in the ‘conference’ room, but have rapidly grown out of that and will now be permanently in the hall.

Our juniors also have their own room full of toys and learning materials as well; something we certainly didn’t have in the past.

Look, We Have A Library!

Last year our ‘library’ consisted of three black tubs that operated out of a boot. This year we not only have a magnificent library (with lots of books), we’ve also got our very own librarian! Leanne’s been doing a great job of sorting and organising the books every week, so feel free to pop into the library and let her know what a great job she’s doing!

A BIG Thank You

Thanks for making a huge effort every week of arriving for the 11am start. It’s incredible that some of our volunteers travel from the other side of the city to get to Glengala, so your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Also thanks for filling out the Can’t Come form for the weeks you aren’t able to make it. It’s a big help knowing who will and won’t be there every week, and it makes things run a lot smoother.
