This is a simplified interface to provide a test bed for coding features into a future Interface prototype. This app is a flash swf which has a camera input on one layer and a mask on the top layer. Simple controls are provided for movement and scale.
The aim of this code test was to mask a portion of the incoming camera field and have that shape of the mask retain its aspect during any motion or rescale of the image on screen. For this test the mask starts in a 50% alpha red colour to enable easier masking, with the view that a change to a black mask would then match the background of the interface and the stage.
